towing weight is around 2500lbs great for a v6 Toyota or jeep the axle does not have breaks but there are backing plates on it if you wanted to install them
the trailer is in nice shape there is a little bit of age on the counter top as it is an oiled wood top and there are dents from hail on the back of the trailer on the drop door.
